what you receive

Your session lasts about 60 minutes and you will receive a disc of at least 10-25 retouched high resolution images. You can make reprints of your images wherever you choose – they are yours and we don’t require any purchases from you. You’ll also receive a private online gallery of your images so you can share them with family and friends.

optional labor/birth coverage

Once labor has begun, if you decide to have photography during labor and/or birth in addition to or in lieu of the newborn session, you can request photography coverage. Although the timing and length of labor is unpredictable, this service is currently only regularly available between 8am and 8pm. If you are interested in this option, please call or email to talk about availability and more details. Ideally we would arrive 1-2 hours before delivery and stay for the newborn session (approximately one hour) after the baby is born.

investment

60 minute newborn sessions are $175.
Optional labor/birth coverage is $95/hour.

booking details

Newborn sessions take place between the hours of 8am and 8pm at your delivery location within two days after your baby is born. Because of the unpredictable nature of due dates, it is helpful to call us when you first go into labor so that we know your session will be coming up in the next day or two. When you decide to book, we will mail you the session contract. To fully reserve our services, we ask that you send the signed contract with half of your payment. The remaining balance is due prior to or at the start of your session.

When you choose us as your photographer, you’re also choosing to help “flash it forward” one photo shoot at a time! For every newborn session we photograph, we donate 10% of the package cost to Care Net Pregnancy Center of Dane County.
