"not so mini" mini sessions

how to book

There are three ways to book a mini session:

1. On specific dates throughout the year we will offer mini sessions at a location we choose – sometimes just classic shoots for families & kids, and sometimes themed sessions for special shoots like pets, high school seniors, Mother’s Day, Halloween, back to school, winter fun, and more… call or email to ask about upcoming sessions or check our web site and facebook page for updates.
2. Host a mini session portrait party! Perfect for seniors, kids, pets, families - you choose! You pick the date & location and create the guest list. The only requirement for a portrait party is that at least three individuals or families (including the host) need to be signed up for a photo session at the party. Aside from having a ton of fun with people you love to hang out with, it’s an affordable way to capture amazing photos. As the host, you receive 30% off your session fee.
3. Book a private mini session at one of our favorite outdoor locations in Madison.

what you receive

Your session lasts about 30 minutes and you will receive a disc of at least 7-12 retouched high resolution images in black & white and color. You can make reprints of your images wherever you choose – they are yours and we don’t require any purchases from you. You’ll also receive a private online gallery of your images so you can share them with family and friends.

30 minute single sessions are $125
60 minute extended sessions are $175

If you have a family of more than five people or you have a baby less than six months old, we recommend booking an extended session to allow enough extra time to accommodate a larger group or photograph a newborn and still maintain the quality and creativity of our photos. If you do want to choose a single mini session for your family and plan to bring your newborn or large group, please know that you may not receive the same number of final retouched images.  We will always do our best to provide you with the highest quality and number of photos that we can!

booking details

A $50 non-refundable deposit is due via paypal when you reserve your spot. We will then mail you the session contract. You can choose to mail your signed contract and remaining payment prior to your session or bring them at the start of your session. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, you will be contacted the morning of the session to reschedule.

When you choose us as your photographer, you’re also choosing to help “flash it forward” one photo shoot at a time! For every mini session we photograph, we donate 10% of the package cost to Care Net Pregnancy Center of Dane County.
